In 2007 and again in 2008 our company was honored for its remodeling work with six prestigious COTY Awards and two ROMA Awards, including those for “Best in Show,” “Entire House Renovation, $250K-$500K,” "Sustainable Remodeling", "Best Addition Over $200,000", and "Best Residential Exterior".
The awards, issued by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) and the Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC), are designed to recognize quality, design, and client satisfaction.
In 2008, DiGiacomo Homes & Renovation, Inc. also became one of 16 Minnesota GreenStar pilot project participants - we built a new, custom home for clients that incorporated FSC-certified lumber, spray foam insulation, and many other green construction technologies. This home is being considered for Silver Level certification and was recently selected as honorable mention winner of the National “Designing & Building with FSC” award for residential construction. Company President Rocky DiGiacomo traveled to Boston in November 2008 to receive the award in a ceremony held in conjunction with the 2008 Greenbuild International Conference & Expo. |
